The Business Overview Tab is a Tool within the Dashboard Application that provides a consolidated snapshot of current business performance. It presents summarized Outputs intended to support quick review and prioritization.

When to Use This Tool

• When you need an at-a-glance view of current business status and key signals
• When you want a summary view before moving into deeper review in other Applications
• When you need a period-based snapshot to support regular check-ins

What You Can Do in This Tab

• Review summarized business performance Outputs for the selected period
• Identify exceptions or trends that require follow-up in other Applications
• Monitor high-level signals related to revenue, costs, and overall health

How This Tab Fits in the Application

The Business Overview Tab supports the Dashboard Application’s role as a monitoring and oversight area. It complements report-focused and planning-focused Tabs by providing a fast summary view, while relying on underlying data recorded elsewhere in the Application.
