Sales POS

Overview

Sales POS is CoreXBiz Core’s built-in lightweight point-of-sale and direct-sales workspace — not an external POS integration. Use it to create quotes, invoices, and in-store or staff-entered orders from the Sales dashboard.

When WooCommerce is connected, line items can draw from the WooCommerce product catalog and customer records. Orders created here follow the same operational paths as other CoreXBiz sales — jobs, workflow, communication, purchasing, and accounting context stay connected.

Managers can work from WordPress admin; team members can use a dedicated sales SPA with role-appropriate access.

It is the primary place to start a New Order, add line items, save an invoice, take payment context, export PDF, and send the invoice.

When to Use This Tool

  • When you need to create a quote, invoice, or order from the Sales dashboard / POS
  • When you are selling in person or taking a direct order entered by staff
  • When a phone or email request needs to become a recorded order in CoreXBiz (manual entry)
  • When you need payment, PDF, or send-invoice flows after saving an order

How This Fits with Sales List

  • Sales POS — create and work the invoice or order (New Order workflow)
  • Sales List — review sales-related records in an accounting context after they exist

Notes and Limitations

  • Lightweight POS — suitable for quotes, invoices, and staff-entered sales; not advanced retail POS (hardware integrations, full inventory POS, etc.) unless documented as shipped
  • Access depends on roles and capabilities
  • Full payment processing and nested “Add New Client” flows may be out of scope for lean How-To demos
  • WooCommerce connection is optional for many CoreXBiz Core sales workflows; it enriches catalog/customer context when present
